You used to run through my garden with a poppy in your hair, chasing after those delicate dandelion seeds. You ran to me, we closed our eyes and wished, and then blew those seeds into the air, entrusting our dreams to the world. It makes me smile every time I think about it. Your innocence for life taught me to keep on loving it too. And you were only 6!

One day I will leave this world, unable to hold your hand and dream with you. But I want to leave you with this letter, so you’ll always remember. When life knocks you down, my darling, remember our dandelion. They come in the early spring, symbolising a rebirth of growth after a harsh winter.
