Lucy’s Hero Sale Visit

Lucy first meets Paul Wellstone when he comes to her farming community, campaigning for senator from his green bus. When a flood devastates her family’s farm, Lucy writes a letter to Paul asking for help. Paul visits the flood-stricken area and invites Lucy to Washington D.C., to help him seek funds for disaster relief. A story of encouragement for young girls and a nod to the legacy of Paul Wellstone.
